The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will collaborate with three winning teams from a hackathon hosted by ADB in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) from August 31 to September 2, 2019. These are major players in Asia.
ADB and AIM held the competition as part of Digital Week 2019 which took place from 2 to 5 September. More than 700 young people and start-ups from all over the world presented innovative solutions to three different challenges. ADB and AIM defined the three challenges based on current organizational and development needs. The solutions utilized new technologies such as the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and digital payments.
FlexM went first to the finals – and then won in its category for its technology behind cashless payment solution.
ADB has also entered into non-exclusive collaboration arrangements with Microsoft Operations Pte Ltd. and Oracle Corporation Singapore Pte Ltd. to collaborate on the adoption and use of new technologies in ADB’s work.
This means that we will now enter into cooperation with the above major players, which in turn will result in the roll-out of FlexM’s solution in 20 developing countries in Asia. It goes without saying that FlexM has thereby received a formidable boost in its further development of the company. Congratulations FlexM!
